Who is Bernie Sanders?

Bernie Sanders is in the news a lot now but he's actually been around a long time. He is a Jr. United States Senator and has run for President of the United States before. While he ran on a Democratic ticket, he is in recent times, a Socialist and a progressive.

Sanders has a lot of charisma and a huge following. It was said he was a sure underdog when he ran against Hilary Clinton in 2016 but he actually did surprisingly well. He has recently announced that he will be running against Trump for the next race for Presidency. While Sanders was practically unknown by much of the United States population for many of his years in the Senate, all that has changed and some are banking on exactly that...Bernie for a change!
