There is a debate on whether seafood is really healthy or not. It is true that seafood is usually jam packed with nutrients including vitamins and minerals and other good things as well. One of the biggest problems though is that the ocean and seas are being polluted and this is adding toxins, like too much mercury, to the season that people are eating. Furthermore, seafood farms are taking from the natural aspect and are making seafood dangerous and less than desireable.

It is yet to be determined if seafood in the future will be less healthy due to the constant and progressive pollution in the seas and oceans or if that will be stopped and it will be healthier. The best we can really hope for is that the monitoring of seatible seafood will become more advanced and that more people won't just assume that all seafood is healthy but will check for certification of it.

In today’s era, seafood has become a beloved delicacy as it is highly rich in nutrients, possesses a good source of proteins, and reduces the chances of occurrence of common diseases. According to some researches, adults should eat seafood twice a week to remain healthy. Some seafood contains a high level of mercury which can lead to heart πŸ’— diseases. Hence, I would like you to be cautious (on a serious note) while eating some seafood as not all of them are protein-rich. Avoid eating farm-raised salmon fishes 🐟 as they can harm you.Always prefer to eat fishes which have low mercury levels. Also, don’t fry your seafood as they might add calories to them.

Yes, they are 😊! But, not all seafood is good for yourhealth. Most doctors πŸ‘©‍βš•οΈ recommend having seafood in your diet as seafood is an excellent source of protein due to the lower intake of fat.
