It would depend on the type of hormones that will be given. There are some that would require hormonesto be given externally because their body is not producing enough hormones. For example, diabetics would need to take an extra dose of insulin from time to time because their body would not be producing enough insulin that will make sure that the body will be able to regulate sugar.

There are also some people who would need more estrogen because they are having issues with their menstruation or the ability to bear a child. The right amount of hormones will make sure that the body will become more balanced in doing what it is supposed to do.

Some people need hormones because their bodies are not producing enough. Some hormones can be bad if they are taken in excess. However, it seems that no hormone that are taken externally should be taken in excess because they would all be dangerous. It is likely that hormones that are taken externally should be closely monitored by a doctor.

This will allow them to make sure it doesn’t get to those dangerous levels. However, the opposite can be a problem as well as hormone deficiencies could bring on pain and discomfort for that person. It could also make the person very sick. Therefore, estrogen or insulin, for example, could be taken externally since their bodies don’t produce enough. However too much of them could be deadly.
