The truth is that not being able to fall asleep or have a proper sleep will demand a lot things from the body. A person suffering from insomnia will not be able to have the minimum 7 hours of sleep that is needed by every single person. Symptoms of insomnia include, difficulty to fall asleep or stay asleep, frequent waking up during the night. It is pertinent to know that insomnia can affect the mental capacity, and at the same time it can affect the physical fitness of an individual.

A person suffering from insomnia will definitely have problem in concentrating on major issues, and his/her ability to creatively come up with good performance will be reduced. Lack of sleep can also affect your mood during the day as you are more likely to be feeling depressed. Lack of sleep can also lead to high blood pressure. Finally, it should be noted that insomnia can cause other serious illness.
