Cataracts can occur in people's eyes as a result of some environmental factors, and also as well as natural occurrence. When the symptoms of this infection has been suspected, some things can be put into places, such as using new eyeglasses, anti-glare sunglasses, brighter lighting, or magnifying lenses. When these above listed measures do not correct the eye defect, then the best way to cure it in this present day world is through cataract surgery. This surgery is carried out in such a way the natural lens that has been clouded would be removed and replaced by a new artificial lens.

The surgery should be carefully done and the necessary measures before and after the surgery should be taken to. However, there are some ways being claimed through which cataracts can be cured. One of these is the application of eye drops containing lanosterol. Other professed means by people is the use of local herbs in various countries, especially the developing ones. A good example is vision vital capsules in the western part of Africa.
