There are not enough clear data that will show how many African elephants have lost their lives in the year 2018 but it has to be significant because, over the years, the number of African elephants has already dwindled. There are about 100 elephants that are killed by Poachers per day.

The reason why elephants are killed is because of their tusks made out of ivory. There are also some people who kill elephants for their other body parts such as their meat. There are so many African elephants that are killed inhumanely because of their tusks even with the rules and regulations that have been set to stop.
