The average size of a full-grown African elephant is probably about 8.2 feet. There are some African elephants that can even grow up to 13 feet which means that they can be very massive especially if you see them up close. It is already common to make African elephants become bigger as compared to females.

There is also a significant difference between the African bush elephant and the African forest elephant not only in terms of their height but also their weight. The African bush elephant is considered to become longer and bigger. They are usually expected to live up to 60 or 70 years old.
