Yes, there are a few countries that enjoy the sport. Of the many countries, the ones who do love the sport are in North and South America. Canada, of course, has deep love for the game, as does the United States and Bolivia. The sport is growing as well in Mexico. In Europe, there are a number of countries that enjoy the sport. Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Belarus, Iceland, and the United Kingdom are some of the countries where the sport is a favorite.
Eastern European countries like Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. There other countries in Eastern Europe who play the sport but these countries seem to have the strongest following. In Asia, Russia, China, and North Korea the sport is popular. In most places where the climate seems to support the sport, there seems to be a following for hockey. Japan was also mentioned as a country that follows the sport, and actually has a version of the NHL with over ten teams.
