Healthy breakfasts are those that set the body up for the day's activities, therefore a piece of dry toast or a cup of tea is insufficient. Like any meal, a combination of nutritive elements is necessary. So dried apricots, yoghurt, porridge and caffeine free drink would be one healthy option.
Muesli that contains linseed, flax and other seeds, a banana, or wholemeal toast with an egg, bran flakes with milk and a bowl of mixed fresh fruit: these are all healthy breakfasts, and you can ring the changes. Avoid the big fry-up. They may be tasty but they don't do much for your fitness.
