I know it is very easy to think it is not possible to calculate the speed of darkness. The truth is if the speed of light can be calculated, then we should be able to calculate the speed of darkness. People are of the opinion that the speed of light is the same as the speed of darkness. This means if the speed of light is calculated to be 3.0x10^8, then the speed of darkness should be the same.

Have you ever wondered why there is always sudden darkness at the disappearance of light? If a whole place can quickly turn to darkness when the light goes off, then it means darkness is probably traveling at a rate similar to light. Let's also think of the brightness of the sun during the day and equate it with the thick darkness we experience in the light. I know this may sound funny, but that's the logic behind it

Yes, it is possible to calculate the speed of darkness. It stands to reason that if you can measure the speed of light, that you could also measure the speed of darkness. Once the light is gone, the dark takes over so it would be reasonable to calculate darkness at the same measurements that we calculate light at.
