It does not automatically mean that just because someone has gotten an abortion, the person will not have the ability to bear children after. A lot of times, abortion will not come with complications, and if the person would decide to have children someday, this will not be an issue.

The only time when this can become a problem is if the woman has had a botched abortion. This means that the abortion was done in an illegal way. There is still a possibility that the abortionist was not able to do everything correctly.

This explains why illegal abortions may hurt more as compared to legal abortions. There may also be more complications if the mother decided to abort the baby during the second or third trimester.

Women will still be able to have children even after an abortion. All women have their reasons regarding why they are aborting their pregnancies. Some women feel that they are not ready to be a mother yet.

If women have gotten more than one abortion then surgery may greatly damaged the uterus. These are not common problems. If women have not had any harmful affects upon an abortion then there is a more positive chance in having a baby in the future. However, there is a chance of a premature birth if you were to get pregnant again.

An abortion does not affect a person’s ability to conceive. It’s very unlikely that it affects a woman’s fertility. Therefore, someone that had abortion will be able to have children in the future.

However, there is a small chance that a complication may occur that may affect fertility or pregnancy. An infection could damage the uterus or travel up the fallopian tubes and block them.
