Have you ever wondered why people do not ride zebras even though they are similar to horses? You can ride zebras BUT there are some things that you have to remember: first, zebras do not have saddles that are similar to horses which means that one wrong move and you will hurt them.
Second, zebras have the tendency to become aggressive so you cannot be sure if it would hurt you while you are riding one.
Third, training a zebra is known to be harder as compared to training horses. With all of these reasons, then you are better off not riding a zebra. It will not only be for your sake but for the zebra’s sake too.
It is not recommended that you ride a zebra because they are not trained to be ridden. Zebras are wild. Very rarely do you see a trained or tame zebra. Therefore, it is suggested that someone needs to ride another animal and not a zebra. It would be very difficult to even get on the animal and then difficult to stay on it when in motion.
There are other similar animals that can be ridden like a horse or a donkey. Zebras are known for being smaller than a horse and therefore can’t carry the weight like a horse could by a rider. Since zebras are not tame nor do they have the muscles to withhold a rider, riders should ride something else.
Compared to horses and donkeys, you cannot ride a zebra. They become very aggressive and vicious as they get older. Many have tried to ride a zebra in the past but have been unsuccessful. However, there is a record of zebras been used to drive carriage.
Zebras are significantly smaller than horses; the discomfort of having a rider for any length of time is likely to activate their worst tendencies even when they have been trained. Their body shape does not take a saddle very well. Trying to train or ride a zebra is extremely dangerous and should be avoided.
