The Seven Years War was a war also known as the French and Indian War. Prior to this war, the Ohio River Valley was full of animals. Many people were coming there for the fur trade. It got so popular that many people wanted to have that area to themselves.

Since many people wanted this land, it led to conflict. The French colony there teamed up with a few Native tribes versus Great Britain and a few tribes that they teamed up with. Both sides fought each other over this land to control the fur trade.

George Washington fought for the Virginia Regiment against the French colonies in the Ohio River Valley. Ironically, George would fight against the British twenty years later for the freedom of the United States.
