In space there is the largest telescope that orbits in space. This telescope moves around space in order for people to learn about space. It allows people to look at items in space that they could not see from earth. They also could not go into space and hopefully stumble upon these items. They needed something that was always moving around in space to capture the items.

The Hubble Space Telescope was launched into space in or around 1990. It has been operating for almost thirty years. The dimensions of the telescope are about forty-three feet by thirteen feet. Even though it is the most popular and well-known telescope in space, it is not the first telescope to be put in space.
