There are a lot of things that can be said about curiosity but the fact remains that a lot of people are looking forward to the details that it can provide. This was supposed to last for only two years. Since it reached Mars in the year 2012, it was only supposed to go on for about 2 years. Since curiosity is still working, NASA has decided that it will go on as long as it can.
This rover is still making a lot of big discoveries that are letting people know more about the planet. While there is no specific answer on how long this would last, one thing is for certain: it is meant to last for a long time.
