Mission Impossible is a series of film of the same name starring Tom Cruise as the lead. His character’s name is Ethan Hunt. The first Mission Impossible film was in 1996 and sequels have continued throughout the years. The other films include those made in 2000, 2006, 2011, 2015 and 2018. The principal cast always seems to include Tom Cruise as the main character and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell.
Other actors include Dougray Scott, Jon Voight and Jean Reno. When a series is made, it is too difficult to change the actor who plays the main character because the audience especially those who are big fans expect to see the same actor. A different actor would still not portray exactly what is expected.
