The correct answer to this question is Kapila. The name Kapila can refer to many people in texts from the medieval and ancient periods and the references are never the same. Along with people, Kapila also referred to as cows. The most well known Kapila is the person who founded the Samkhya school.

This school was from Hindu philosophy. It is known that he is older than Buddha, but his specific date of birth is unknown. It is estimated that he was around during the 6th or 7th century BCE. Kapila influenced Samkhya-sutra, and these sutras were studied in the Hindu text Samkhyakarika.
