Americans have different browser preferences than most people. It can also be attributed to their choice of devices. The most popular browser is chrome which claims the majority of users by a significant lead. Following chrome is the internet explorer. Despite its drawbacks it is still one of the commonly used browsers in the US.
After internet explorer, one would expect to see Firefox. However, that is not the case. Thanks to the apple hype, the 3rd most commonly used browser is Safari. It is interesting to see the choice of browsers by the Americans as it points to their devices more than their preference.
