Worlwideweb was the first internet browser/ it was developed by Tim Berners-Lee in the year 1990. It worked for NeXT which was also the newest internet server at the time. He introduced the browser to his colleagues in March 1991 at CERN. Later on, he also recruited another team mate, Nicola Pellow whom he asked to write the Line Mode Browser.

He then released it in 1991. There was much troubleshooting at hand when the browser was first released. For one thing, it only display grayscale and worked for only NeXT machines. As we all know, with evolution, the browsers developed to the point we are standing at today.
