Phil Coulson will be part of the Captain Marvel movie. This has already been confirmed but people may be surprised with how he will be portrayed. He is known by a lot of people as one of the members of S.H.I.E.L.D. This time, he would be shown as a young agent and in all fairness, he was made to look younger in the movie.
It should be remembered that Captain Marvel is set in the 90s which were decades ago although it does not feel like it. He is meant to be young and not as powerful as he is in the present time.
