DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. This will make sure that children who were brought to the United States of America through legal means will not be deported immediately. This can also be applicable for some adult immigrants who were on the verge of deportation. They were given work permits instead. Take note that this is only applicable for a few immigrants and not for all.

This was stopped by the new administration last September 5. This means that different immigrants are losing their right to remain in the United States of America. A lot of people still feel that this is something that the United States needs to provide but since this is already stopped, only time will tell what will occur next.
