Some people say that consuming too much sugar can be a leading cause of Diabetes. This is not actually true. What happens is, eating too much sugar can make people gain weight. Obesity is one of the main things that can heighten the risk for people to develop the disease. Eating too much sugar can also increase blood pressure which is again, another factor that can increase the risk of acquiring diabetes.

When you are already in pre-Diabetes stage, your body will find it harder to function. You may also worsen your symptoms in the process. It is best that you stick with a healthy diet so you can lower your risk of developing this condition.
