Wearing makeup on a regular basis can have some temporary side effects, especially if not completely removed before going to sleep. These effects can include developing an allergic reaction to one or more of the ingredients in the makeup, breaking out in a rash or acne, or drying out the skin.

Dry skin will cause wrinkles to be more visible. If you are going to wear makeup, be sure to use non-comedogenic makeup, meaning it won’t clog your skin pores. Clogged skin pores can lead to blackheads, pimples, and acne.
