The correct answer is the endoplasmic reticulum. The image above shows the cell organelle knows as the endoplasmic reticulum. It is a membranous tubule found the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells. The endoplasmic reticulum is made up of 2 subunits: the rough and the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. The rough endoplasmic reticulum has ribosomes attached to them while smooth endoplasmic reticulum.

The primary function of the endoplasmic reticulum involves the production of protein, folding protein molecules in sacs known as cisternae; it is also involved in the modification and the transport of synthesized proteins in vesicles to the Golgi apparatus. The endoplasmic proteins also produce proteins for other components of the cell, such as lysosomes, Golgi apparatus, and secretory vesicles.

The correct answer to this question is endoplasmic reticulum. Normally abbreviated ER, endoplasmic reticulum is an organelle. As the image shows, they are flattened sacs and they can be found in the cytoplasm. Endoplasmic reticulums are present in eukaryotic cells. There are two types of eukaryotic cells. There is smooth endoplasmic reticulum, which looks like tubes.

The second is rough endoplasmic reticulum, which resembles membranes that are bumpy. Another way they are described as are sheets and disks. They get the name rough because attached to its surface are ribosomes, which gives it the bumpy appearance.

This is also known as the endoplasmic reticulum. This type of organelle is usually found in eukaryotic cells. This normally works with the Golgi Apparatus and the other parts of the eukaryotic cells. This is responsible for the transportation of the carbohydrates, proteins, and other organelles. This is also very effective for the formation of the skeletal framework.

The endoplasmic reticulum will also synthesize the various hormones from the cholesterol. This will also be the place where protein folding and modification may take place. Take note that there are different types of endoplasmic reticulum such as the rough and smooth ER. They have different functions from each other.
