The UK declined because of social and economic inequality. This power was created to cause class and wealth divisions in Britain. These divisions are promoted around the world. Because of these injustices, the rich profited and fortunes were made, the land was appropriated, and cultures were destroyed.

There were also the moral questions concerning slaves and factory systems. Higher taxes for poor people, and higher prices in Britain. There was greed, corruption in high places, hypocrisy, injustices and double standards. Class and race systems divided Britain.
