The answer to this is D. You should not continue as it will be harder for you to figure out what the special causes in a control chart is. You have to know and determine what the special causes are and you have to make an effort to eliminate them. If there are a lot, then eliminate them one by one. If you would continue taking data measurements, the special causes may worsen and may even multiply.

You also cannot just figure out what the special causes are, then go through the process like as if nothing happened. You need to eliminate them to be sure that you will not encounter other issues in the long run.
