The controlled variable for this is going to be “the number of times that the gum will be chewed.” When you are doing an experiment, the controlled variable is going to be important. This is the variable that will be constant throughout the whole experiment.

In this example, the number of times that the gum will be chewed is the controlled variable because those who are conducting the experiment can provide specifics on the number of times that they can be chewed. There are other things that can be considered as controlled variables such as temperature, the amount of light that will be used, and so much more.

The number of times the gum is chewed and the size of the bubble. In this experiment, the only thing that remained the same is the number of times the gum is chewed. A control variable is any element that is controlled or held constant for the duration of an experiment. Because of this fact, the controlled variable can also be referred to as a continuous variable.

A single experiment can have many control variables. Control variables are essential because they could affect the outcome. However, they are not part of the experiment. Control variables are any factors you control as a constant so that they cannot affect the experiment.

There are specific attributes of the control variables. Their main characteristic is that they make it easier to reproduce the experiment. Another factor is that they boost confidence in the outcome of the experiment. Some examples of common control variables include the experiment's time, temperature, humidity, and experimental method.

The number of times gum is chewed. A controlled variable is also known as a scientific constant. This variable is something in a scientific experiment that says the same and doesn't change throughout the process.

Throughout the experiment, there are different brands used. As a result, the size of the bubble varies as well. Throughout the five brands of gum, the only constant is the number of times the gum is chewed. Continuous variables have no significance to the person experimenting, but they can influence and have an impact on the results.

The controlled variable in the experiment that results in this graph is the number of times the brand of gum is chewed. There are several brands of gum that are chewed, and that makes this factor not to be the controlled variable. The brands are Big Red, All Day Chew, Hubba Bubba, Stride, and Trident. .

Also, the size of the bubble of gums that were chewed is different also, with 3cm for Big Red, 8cm for All Day Chew, 10cm for Hubba Bubba, 6cm for Stride, and 4cm for Trident. This makes the size of the bubble not to be a controlled variable.

A controlled variable is another thing that you also need to understand. It is a kind of constant that is not necessarily shown in the outcome of an experiment but is a key factor in determining the outcome of an experiment. There can be more than one control variable in an experiment.

It will be hard to control the size of the bubble gum that will be formed. This will sometimes depend on the brand of the bubble gum that you will choose as there are some that will blow better bubbles as compared to others.

The brand of the bubble gum needs to be all different in order to determine what brand can provide the best bubble. The only thing that can be controlled based on the given choices is the number of times that the gum can be chewed. There are some types of gum that cannot be blown properly when they are barely chewed.
