The ITIL stage CSI (Continual Service Improvement) is a form of quality management to correct past mistakes and improve previous successes of a company. The first step is to review the services. This is to help and improve the service and to identify more effective and economical ways to provide it. By economical means, the budget is not necessary.

The ITIL stage CSI must think of creative ways to boost services without spending the company’s money. The company should also have clear plans and goals that they must obtain in a given time frame. From time to time, an update should be verified to check if the company is right on track with their plan.
