The creator of The Simpsons is Matt Groening. He said that he conceived the concept of this television series when he was in the office of James L. Brooks. The names of the family members are actually based on the names of his own family except for his name.
He is Bart, of course. It started out as shorts that were shown in a segment at the Tracy Ullman Show but the shorts became so popular that it has become its own television series. People were ecstatic and are still ecstatic about this television show right now. This sitcom just shows the typical and traditional life of a working-class American family that a lot of people can relate to right now.
