A lot of of people may assume that Cancer is some sort of a new disease but signs of Cancer were already there back in the year 1775. it seems that the most common cancer at that time was cancer of the scrotum. This was common among those who work as chimney sweepers.

The different doctors and physicians at that time all had their own theories about why this has occurred but when they started working together, that was the time when they were able to make theories that are still vital in today’s world. Do take note that even before the year 1775, there were already reports about people getting bone cancer for bones that were dated in the 1600 B.C.

It may seem surprising to a lot of people but cancer was first detected during the time of Hippocrates which was in 460 – 370 B.C. This was the first time when the term “cancer” was invented but according to research, there were some bones of people that showed signs that they had cancer back in 1600 B.C.

It seems that there weren’t a lot of reports about cancer at that time because people do not really become old. People’s longevity has increased over the past years. It is now normal for people to reach the age of 80. People before used to live only up to their 40s or even younger. Cancer is more common on people who are older.
