The easiest answer to this is that your priorities will change after becoming a mother. After you have become a mother, the biggest priority and concern in your life should be your child. Whether it’s a newborn you just gave birth to or it’s a child you adopted, you should be focusing your attention on your child.
That is what you decided to do when you became a mother. Granted, not everyone can fully give all of their attention to their child, but that’s when you give all that you can to make sure they’re getting the right kind of attention from a nanny, a preschool, a daycare, or whatever it is you decide to do. That is why life changes so much after becoming a mother.
The main reason for the change is basically because of priorities. Before becoming a mother, women usually think about themselves or their loved ones. The moment that they become mothers, their maternal instinct takes over. They start becoming more concerned of their child’s welfare compared to their own. They start to realize that they need to protect their children.
Some women do it in an overacting manner especially if the child is the first child but mothers usually continue to nurture their children for as long as they can. They put being a mother first compared to the other roles that they have to do. That is the change that being a mother can provide.
