Fleetwood Mac is a band that included Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Neil Finn, John McVie, Nick Fleetwood, Taku Hirano and Mike Campbell. Their music falls into the genres of blues rock, progressive rock, British blues, art pop, soft rock and pop rock. It began in the late 1960s. They sold millions of records and most likely their most popular band member is Stevie Nicks.

For the most part, the members of the band have gone their separate ways and have been doing solo projects lately. For instance, Christine McVie did a small musical project called the Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie. It was created last year. Stevie Nicks wrote and released an album in late 2014. It is unsure whether the members of the group will perform again as a whole band.

The band kept the original line-up until the late 1980's when the band's tensions started to become somewhat overwhelming for everyone involved. It became like a rock n' roll soap opera. Also, Stevie Nicks had reached the heights of enormous popularity with her solo projects.

The first member to leave was Lindsey Buckingham, and then shortly after that Stevie Nicks left in 1991. She was replaced with a series of short-term vocalists. In 1993, the band reunited for their infamous performance at the Presidential inauguration of Bill Clinton.

In 1997, they all joined and made the critically acclaimed album, "The Dance." Christine McVie retired from touring, and the band stayed together as a foursome with McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks. In 2018, Buckingham was let go from the group and was replaced by guitarists Mike Campbell and Neil Finn.
