Why did Zinedine Zidane resign as the manager of Real Madrid?

Nobody really knows man! As a Madridista, I am really disappointed that such an abrupt event has occurred. Zidane himself has said that the club needs a new voice and a new methodology for success. He says that this is the perfect time for him to leave the club, for its betterment.

His decision is pretty difficult to understand, because he has hardly been a manager for the past two and a half years. The same methodology can bring results for decades and a methodology shift isn’t needed every few years. Manchester United is proof that a singular force head can make a club really successful. His reasons seem sketchy and built up. I personally believe there has been miscommunication between him and the brass or maybe the players. The incident involving Gareth Bale’s confession of Zidane not appreciating him is proof enough that there is a lot going on behind the scenes. Truly why is something we’ll never know.

What I’m more scared about is how will Real find a replacement for him. Nobody will be able to give consistent results like Zidane. He was talented even for his inexperience in managing a club. Let’s hope the best for both Zidane and Real Madrid.
