The correct answer to this question is True because matter can be living or nonliving. The matter is all around us every day, and the matter is anything that takes up space. As a living, human beings, we take up space, so we are matter. Most people are familiar with the non-living thing, which make up the three major states of matter. One is stable, which keeps its shape and doesn't flow.

Examples of solids are books and cars. Another state of matter is liquid, which flows and takes shape to whichever it is being held in, like water in a container. Lastly, there is gas, which moves freely and doesn't fit a container, like air.
