CAT

This counts as a CAT because the instructor checked for student understanding of the material, shared her findings with students, and used that check to influence her next lesson.

I would say this is a CAT because the instructor is gathering information about what the students have learned and then responding to the class.

I agree the important thing is responding and using the information in your teaching.

It is a CAT because you are activating, capturing, and assessing what students know during the course of the week's lesson.
