Coachella is always known for bringing together some of the best recording artists that are around today. To say that the 2011 Coachella Festival was the best of all time would kind of be misleading. The 2011 edition of the Coachella Festival was one that had headlining acts in Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, and Kanye West.
As far as alternative rock goes, this lineup is certainly one of the memorable. To say that it was the best Coachella Festival of all time would be kind of a stretch. Coachella 2011 had average attendance and was able to bring in respectable revenues but there is really nothing that could actually say for certain that Coachella 2011 was the best rendition of the festival ever.
Revenues and attendance have been steadily increasing each year of the festival since that 2011 edition. Coachella 2011 certainly had its fair share of big name artists on the bill but it certainly was not the best Coachella Festival to ever take place.
