What would be the distance and bearing of the finishing point from the starting point?
An aircraft flies 500 km on a bearing of 100o and the 600 km on a bearing of 160o.

There are different methods that are used by people in order to calculate the distance and bearing of objects. Some people use the VIncenty’s formula. This would require converting the longitude and latitude before everything will be computed. If this formula will be used, the answer to this question is letter E.

There are some who use other models in order to form computations that will help them arrive at the answer. Computing for distance and bearing may be complicated if you do not know the step by step process. It is ideal that you know each step properly so you can continue without any issues.
