The answer to this, my friend, is a bit complicated. If you are above 21, you shouldn’t have a problem procuring alcohol inside the Coachella grounds. Drinking is allowed and so is partying. There are bars serving alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and mocktails.

Bringing your own alcohol is restricted, although people camping on Coachella grounds can bring one case of beer per person. Coachella officials are very strict about the case rule and more than a single case is not allowed. You can buy and bring later if you run out of it. If you are under 21, then you have to be careful. It is okay that you’re a rebellious young adult but drinking is prohibited for your age and it’s best if you understand it.
