The excretory system is an essential system in the body. It is known for this system excreting waste from the body. Particular organs pertain to this excretory system because they allow the body to clean itself of waste and toxins. This system helps keep the body healthy and free from poison.

There are two major organs of the excretory system. One of these organs is the bladder. However, the other is the kidney. The kidneys are essential to the body because they help the body maintain the appropriate amount of fluid needed in the body, and they keep track of other amounts of things that should be in the body. Most people have two kidneys, but you can live off of one healthy kidney.
