Pheochromocytoma can be found in the adrenal glands. It is a tumor that has a number of signs and symptoms including high blood pressure and heart rate as well as weight issues. Most of the symptoms occur to the heart. However, one who suffers from this include headaches and other minor symptoms. Catecholamine is a compound that is secreted from the adrenal glands.

Its function is to control levels of stress and has an effect on blood pressure. However, if a nurse was assessing a male patient who is known to have pheochromocytoma, then it is expected that he would be suffering from the common symptoms due to his tumor in the adrenal glands. However, if it secretes a lot of catecholamine, the he would have a higher blood pressure.
