The correct answer to this question is Time observed at Greenwich. GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time. It is the time at the Royal Observatory, which is in Greenwich London. The time can be calculated in different ways. One way it was observed in the past is being calculated at noon.

The clock at the Royal Observatory is called the Shepherd Gate Clock. GMT is the standard time in the UK, as well as other countries like Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso. GMT is also a time zone, and it is not affected by Daylight Saving Time like other time zones.
