Sociopaths are usually defined as individuals who display anti-socialbehavior, which is mainly characterized by a lack of empathy towards others. It is coupled with a display of abnormal moral conduct and inability to conform to the norms of society. Some of the characteristics of sociopaths include stealing, lying, cheating, lack of remorse, irresponsible or reckless behavior, drug or alcohol misuse, problems with the law, and aggressive behavior.
People who are suffering from sociopathic disorders tend to be superficially charming. They also tend to be very manipulative, calculating, and unable to learn from their mistakes. It comes from a lack of empathy toward others.
