A lot of people know about the murder of John Lennon. To people’s surprise, Lennon was killed by a fan. In fact, there is a photograph circulating that Mark David Chapman, Lennon’s assassin, was pictured before he shot Lennon. He said that his reason for shooting Lennon was because of what Lennon said that he was bigger than Jesus. People believe that this is just taken out of context.

A lot of people are angry at Chapman but there are also some who feel that Lennon was bound to get a lot of haters because of his statements when he was still alive. Chapman does not regret anything that he has done.

John Lennon was one of the most beloved boy band members of The Beatles. It came as a shock to the world when the musician who only spoke of love and peace was murdered. John Lennon was assassinated on December 8th, 1980. He was shot by Mark David Chapman outside his home in New York City.

According to Mark David Chapman, he said that he shot and killed John Lennon in order to encourage people to read The Catcher in the Rye. He had everything planned and it was all calmly thought out and executed it exactly like he planned.
