There are a lot of people who will have varying views about this. There are some who would say that the original Naruto is better probably because this is something that they have watched in the past. There are also some who would say that the new one is better because this is what they have watched first. It will still depend on people’s preferences.
If another person does not like the original Naruto even if it is your favorite, you cannot argue with that person. There is no point in arguing with that person because this is what the person wants. There is one thing to remember though, the Naruto that people can watch now wouldn’t have existed without the original one.
In the question of which is the better one between Naruto Shippuden and the original Naruto is a commonly asked question with very passionate people on either side of the argument but my answer is both. The reason for my answer is simple, Naruto Shippuden is better in many ways than the original Naruto such as in the development of the world and the ninjas being more true to traditional ninjas but even.
so, Naruto Shippuden simply would not exist without Naruto. In order to have Naruto Shippuden, you had to have Naruto first so to me they are separate entities and cannot really be compared.
