Usually, if you have a computer, you probably have Windows on it. Every year or so, Windows is updated. You may get those update messages that state you will need to update when you go to log off and shut down your computer. Sometimes, the update will only take a few minutes. However, sometimes the Windows update, especially if it is a big update, could take an hour or longer.

Therefore, you should prepare for the Windows updates. You may need to use a specific edition of the Windows depending on what you are doing. If you plan to upgrade this server that runs a Windows Web Server 2008 version, you will need to use the Windows Server 2016 Standard.
