Springfield is also known as the M1903 Springfield. It was officially adopted as a United States military bolt action rifle on June 19, 1903. It is about 44⅞ inches (1.098 m) long and weighed 8 lb. 11 oz (3.95 kg).
There are four main variants of Springfield, which include M1903 or cartridge, which was developed for 30 -03, M1903 bullpup, M1903 Air Service (1918), M1903 Mark I, M1903 NM, and other.
Springfield is also used in Brazil, China, Cuba, Japan, Ethiopian Empire, New Zealand, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Peru, South Korea, and many other countries.
