Monotheistic faith is considered to be the oldest religion, and it may have influenced all of the other religions that came after. For this type of faith, there was a belief that there are some chosen ones who become priests, but they are not the ones that should be venerated. According to their teachings, all of the things that they implore people to do still come from the different gods.

They have seven planetary deities. These seven gods are the following: Enlil, Nanna, Inanna, Ninhursag, Utu, An, and Enki. All of these gods are powerful in their own different ways. The number 7 was also very important to the ancient Mesopotamians during this time.

That's a matter of conjecture, your confirmation bias has clearly influenced you here.
