The correct answer to this question is D, All of the Above. There are many reasons why muscles should stabilize joints and the answers, A, Some bones don’t fit together neatly, so the muscles help hold them in place, B Without muscles holding bones together, the skeleton would not work correctly, and C The muscles allow the bones at each joint to move successfully are all equally important.

Along with these being important, muscles alone are essential. This is because they are necessary for us to survive. The heart is a muscle in the body, and for us to live, our heart needs to be pumping and strong.
