The ulna is located near the smallest finger. The ulna is a long bone found in the forearm. It stretches from the elbow to the pinky. It is also known as the bone opposite to the thumb or the bone on the opposite side of the forearm from the thumb.
The other long bone in the forearm is the radius and ulna runs parallel to it. The two bones give structure to the forearm. It joins with the humerus on its larger side to form the elbow joint and it joins the carpal bones of the head on the smaller end. Together with the radius, the ulna helps the wrist joint to rotate.
