The correct answer is option C – To increase the outline of the font.
The process of embolden in word means to increase the outline of the font. To do this, highlight the text you want to make bold.

Using the keyboard: Hold down the ctrl key on your keyboard. Keep the ctrl key pressed down and press the letter “B” on your keyboard to make the text bold.

You can also do this by click on “B” on the Home tab at the top, after highlighting the text.

Using the shortcut toolbar, you can make your text bold. The shortcut bar appears every time you highlight something. For some versions of Microsoft word, you have to right click to see it. Click the “B” to get the bold text.
